RISE Kids Summer Camp

Service Description

Join us for a week of mindful movement, collaborative learning and imaginative play at RISE Yoga Gettysburg. Monday through Friday July 29 to August 3 from 9-11:30 am Learn about our instructors! Alli Crowell, RYT-200 Owner and lead instructor at RISE Yoga, Alli is an educator by background with over 15 years of experience in K-12 education. While Alli primarily teaches yoga for adult populations at RISE, she is certified in Children's Yoga and enjoys practicing with her own two young children, giving them the opportunity to create their own poses, grow their imagination and regulate big emotions through creative movement and breath work. Melissa Rosenberger, LSW, RYT-200 Melissa is a licensed social worker working with adults, family and youth at Phoenix Wellness Center. She is the yoga and mindfulness facilitator for the Adams County Peace Camp. Melissa is certified in Yoga and Social Emotional Learning instruction through Breathe for Change, an organization centered in the wellness benefits of yoga and mindfulness for youth and educators. **Children will spend a large portion of their day outdoors so should apply sunscreen prior to arriving at camp. Please bring a water bottle and a small snack to camp each day. If packing a snack, please avoid peanuts so that we can take care of our friends with allergies. Enjoy a sibling discount for multiple children. When you register a second child from the same household, enter code RISEKIDS2 for a 20% sibling discount. When you register three children from the same household, enter code RISEKIDS3 for 20% off the second and third child. If you have a child that is on the edge of either end of this age group and you are interested in enrolling or would prefer to keep your children together, we are more than happy to accommodate those requests.
